About Us

Christian Science nursing provided by CSNSNH is in accordance with the standard for the Christian Science nurse as outlined in the Manual of The Mother Church, Article VIII, Section 31, by Mary Baker Eddy.

Mrs. Eddy also gives an indication of the qualities a nurse should and should not express on page 395 of Science and Health. She writes, "An ill-tempered, complaining, or deceitful person should not be a nurse. The nurse should be cheerful, orderly, punctual, patient, full of faith, -- receptive to Truth and Love."

Each of the Christian Science nurses employed or contracted by CSNSNH strive to meet these standards in his or her daily Christian Science nursing practice and are committed to supporting a healing refuge where the focus is spiritual growth and progress, gratitude, renewal, regeneration, and healing.

CSNSNH is available to those relying entirely and exclusively on Christian Science for healing, earnestly and daily practicing Christian Science, working with a Christian Science practitioner listed in The Christian Science Journal, and free from the use of drugs, medical assistance and/or supervision or other material remedies.
