Paula Brensinger, a fourth generation Christian Scientist, is our full-time visiting Christian Science nurse. She is now joined by visiting Christian Science nurse, Michelle Ponder, who is on duty two days a week. We are very grateful!
Paula, a fourth generation Christian Scientist, grew up in Massachusetts, and moved to New Hampshire in 1998 with her husband, Glenn, where they now live in Newport. She took her training at Chestnut Hill Benevolent Association and graduated in May of 2015. She remained on the Christian Science nursing staff there until August 2016.
For five years, Paula divided her time between her New Hampshire home and Chestnut Hill BA, until she was called to serve in the New Hampshire field.
Michelle moved to New Hampshire from Texas in 2018. She received her training in Christian Science nursing from Chestnut Hill Benevolent Association, and worked there for close to three and a half years graduating in the fall of 2022. She is currently working for Tallwood House and the Service. Michelle enjoys puzzles, hiking, playing board games and reading with her family.
You, your practitioner, or a family member or friend, are always welcome to call Paula and Michelle to discuss and arrange for the appropriate care to meet your need.
When you reach the Christian Science nurse, you just need to explain your situation and a visit will be arranged.
If for some reason you will need to leave a message your call will be returned just as soon as possible.
If, after consultation, more care is needed than can be provided by the Service, patients may be referred to a private duty Christian Science nurse, Tallwood House in Concord, NH, or to the Chestnut Hill Benevolent Association.
